I love finding the perfect words to say something and see nothing wrong with rewriting and editing several times (or more!).

Having graduated with a B.A. in English literature and minors in journalism and Japanese, I found employment as a staff writer/reporter for the English section of a Japanese American newspaper. This job immediately confirmed my dislike of chasing people down and forcing them to talk to me when they don't want to. Luckily, I moved into copy editing and layout design, both of which I LOVE. However, I do enjoy the writing aspect of creating stories, so am still occasionally called upon to compose an article.

I also love to create and edit résumés. I currently have a 100% success rate (at least it was last I counted) in helping those who I've written/edited résumés for get interviews. (Once you're there, it's up to you to dazzle them.) In the interest of privacy, I don't have any samples posted here but I eventually hope to have time to change all identifying information on a few of them and post.
